Founded by Charmaine Stubbs in 2010, Straight & Sleek was born out of a passion for redefining hair straightening, creating a premium service women could truly trust, without compromising hair health.

Set in our Kirra beachside haven, each visit is designed to help you relax, reset, and feel genuinely cared for.

With over 15 years of industry experience and training with leading straightening professionals, Charmaine and her expert team specialise in advanced Nanoplasty and hair-health-first techniques, allowing Straight & Sleek to confidently guarantee results.

After experiencing the frustration of frizzy, unmanageable hair and the damage caused by traditional chemical straightening, Charmaine was driven to trial and perfect healthier, results-driven alternatives.

ABOUT OUR SPACE

Our Signature 4 Step Experience

1. CONSULT

We’ll discuss your hair history, texture and goals & recommend one of our suitable treatments. We recommend arriving with natural hair where possible so we can properly assess condition, density and suitability.
2. HAIR PREP

If you can, please arrive with freshly washed hair (two shampoos), however if not, no problem, we’ll take care of the cleansing in salon. Hair is prepared with a purifying wash before sectioning to ensure even product absorption and optimal results.
3. APPLICATION

The Nanoplasty formula is applied in sections and left to process, allowing active ingredients to penetrate and restructure the hair. Hair is then blow-dried and carefully sealed with heat to lock in a sleek, frizz-free finish while maintaining softness and movement.
4. SLEEK RESULTS

Your hair is rinsed, nourished and finished with a smoothing mask to enhance shine and seal the cuticle. We’ll guide you through personalised aftercare and product recommendations to maintain long-lasting, healthy results.
